January 2, 20081. What did you do in 2007 that you’d never done before?
well the whole university thing for one, obviously. stayed away from home, which is very very fun and refreshing i must say. no, i do not take drugs, i do not skip all my classes, i’m still pretty much same old, same old.
2. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
didn’t make any last year, and don’t plan for this.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
yeah. my cousin elaine AND my sister. and i’ve said if elaine’s kid and my sister’s kid ever hang out, she’ll be bullying him all the way, and he’d probably be very obliging.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
nope. well, the priest at my church doesn’t really count.
5. What countries did you visit?
hrms. china (shanghai and suzhou), malaysia (penang or kl i really cannot remember), maldives (oh this i love), japan (twice. DISNEYLAND!), america (los angeles! disneyland again!!), uk (sheffield, manchester, london). i had a nice year (:
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
erm. discipline. and cleverness. yay me. and prettyness and slimness. hahahaha.
7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
15th april.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

9. What was your biggest failure?
where i lost vp to jinn (annoyingly). but it doesn’t matter now, really. lol.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
haha other than the usual colds, throat infections. ugh. let’s just say that i have not been well for more than a week in uk.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
ipod classic (: or really, my clothes. haha.
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
simone’s post strongbow dance. HAHAHA. you know i love you dear.
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
my own. and people i cannot mention.
14. Where did most of your money go?
shopping. ahaha. i’m dead.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
going to uk? lol. and uni. and being with new friends.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? i think it evens out. great amount of sadness but thankfully, loads of happiness too.
ii. thinner or fatter? haha i lost weight in uk, but coming back here with random hawker food made me put it back on! ):
iii. richer or poorer? probably the same.
18. What do you wish you’d done more of?
at this point in time, i’d say studying. BECAUSE EXAMS ARE LESS THAN A MONTH AWAY OMG. but in general, more activity would have been nice. handing out with friends more, laughing more, loving more, and being loved (:
19. What do you wish you’d done less of?
worrying, crying, and suffering.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
with the people that matter. (minus a few cos they are away/have things to do)

yeah. and then he fell out of it.

GREY’S ANATOMY. hands down.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
not that i can think of. besides, if i hated them, i wouldn’t even be thinking about them.

considering i don’t remember half the books i read, this is only from recent memory – a spot of bother by mark haddon. hilarious.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
nice music to dance to. hee. the very overplayed but still nice stronger, way i are, my love, gimme more.

the new ipod. a new start mostly. (:

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
(by this time, i was already in sheffield) i had lunch at nandos along west st with simone, minoli, vaso and srujana, spent the day feeling sad and alone (ha), then got dragged out by davinder to vodka revolution looking terribly unglam cos i happened to be somewhere i cannot remember wearing the uni hoodie! lol. how terrible. but it was fun i guess. (:
32.What is one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
love? (: i’m a sucker for it.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?
jeans and a decent top. plus my nice warm h&m jacket and a scarf! granted that in uk there are so much more things i can wear. thank god.
34. What kept you sane?
knowing that it can only get better. hopefully.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
honestly, i wouldn’t mind being paris hilton for a day. just so i could do anything i want.

my life is in my control. whether i screw it up or not, or no matter how bleak it seems, it can all change if i want it to.
